Choosing a service

Choose phone coverage around the work you need done.

AI and human answering services solve different parts of the same problem. The handoff matters more than the label.

Compare the task, not just the greeting.

A friendly voice is only the beginning. Test whether each option can capture the information your team needs, explain an approved policy, and recognize when a person should take over. Ask what happens when the service cannot finish a request.

An AI assistant can be useful for repeatable language and intake. A human answering service may suit nuanced conversations and exceptions. Capabilities, capacity and pricing vary by provider; verify them against the actual service you would buy.

Keep a person where a person is needed.

Neither a script nor a language model should make a promise your business hasn't authorized. Define the decisions that stay with your staff: advice, sensitive situations, unusual requests and commitments. Check that the service can follow those boundaries.

Evaluate Jai with your own calls.

Jai handles inbound answering and request capture using the information approved for your business. Supported calendar actions and other connections are enabled only after account-specific testing.

Use the included test calls to compare the greeting, capture and next step against your expectations. Review monthly minutes, overages, setup terms and any extra services before choosing a plan.
