Keep the human part of your front desk.
The choice doesn't have to be between caring for customers and getting repetitive administration under control.

A person does more than answer a phone.
A good receptionist understands context, notices when something isn't right and builds relationships over time. Those responsibilities should not disappear into a generic claim that a system can replace a role.
Look at the tasks around the person: repeated directions, routine questions, collecting contact information and assembling a callback note. Some of that work can be handled with clear instructions and boundaries.
Protect the work that makes the business distinct.
For a studio, that might be creative judgment. For a practice, it might be attentive care. For a service business, it might be solving a customer's unusual problem. The purpose of reducing administration is to give people more room for those things.
Make support a practical choice.
Jai is an AI front-desk assistant, and we explain that openly. It works from approved business information, captures requests and passes useful context to the team. A person remains responsible for judgment and commitments outside the approved flow.
Start with the calls that repeatedly pull someone away. Keep the human relationship at the center, then test whether the system is actually helping.
